Bangladesh Home Minister gives clean chit to murders of Buddhist monk.

Venerable Maung Shue U Chak

Bloggers, atheists, free-thinkers, seculars, foreigners, Christian fathers, Hindu priests and Buddhist monks are being systematically targeted and murdered one after another in Bangladesh.

Every time Bangladeshi state-religionists and Islamic State operatives proudly claim the responsibility for these crimes. However, Dhaka dismisses their claims and says all these are "isolated incidents".

While asked by media yesterday at a Rajshahi University program, Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said, "killing of Buddhist monk is an isolated incident. Relatives are responsible for it."

Thus he gave clean chit to Bangladeshi state-religionists and IS operatives who are believed to have murdered Venerable Maung Shue U Chak (70), a Buddhist monk from Bandarban Hill District of Chittagong Hill Tracts, on 14 May.

Instead of feeling regretted and ashamed, the criminals and their collaborators feel delighted, honored and glorified with their crimes in Bangladesh. It is a big problem for Bangladeshi indigenous peoples, religious minorities and free-thinkers.
